Fabio Varesano

A man of twenty-eight, PhD student at the University of Torino, shared his tesis with the community. Several times he answered my e-mails, explaining concepts that I couldn’t understand. He also made his developments and projects publicly available, without asking for anything in exchange. I bought our IMU sensor from him, which is completely open source hardware. His efforts have made a huge impact in the DIY community.

His passion and kindness have been of great inspiration to me. From Fabio, I learned the value of open source developments.
He is now dead. Go and visit his website; he is no longer with us, but I believe that there is still a lot to learn from him. http://www.varesano.net/

It is with great sadness that I express this precocious farewell.

Rest in peace Fabio!
